Per ACL, “Enstructure will be closing receiving on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th due to yard being full and they will not be able to receive and perform cargo operation at the same time.”Per ACL, “it has been confirmed that USTR 301 rules related to new service fees on maritime transport services have been suspended for one year, effective November 11th. While we welcome this news, its financial impact since October 14th has already been quite substantial on Grimaldi Lines, obliging us to absorb all the extra costs for all vessels entering USA since October 14th through today November 11th. Basis the above, we will maintain the surcharge as previously communicated and in effect, for the current week. However, as from Monday, 17th of November, for all deliveries, we are pleased to announce that USTR 301 surcharge will no longer be applicable.”

EFFECTIVE 1/13 NEW SEAGIRT GATE HOURS WILL BE 6AM TO 4:30PM. Update: BWI Shed 12 will open on Monday 1/20 for Import and Export cargo but there will be no crane orders taken. Note BWI lot 1501 is closed, and no car deliveries will be allowed for both WAF and ACL.”

Per ACL, “Amports and Port America will reopen Wednesday, January 22 at 1300. They will remain closed tomorrow morning only reopening in the afternoon.”

Per Sallaum, “Effective mid-February, we will be shifting our terminal operations from Blount Island to Dames Point at Amports Terminal. …Effective, Monday, January 27th, 2025 - Amports Jacksonville Terminal will NOT accept any unit delivered without proper documentation for clearance. There will be no "NO TITLE" requests approved until after our move to Dames Point is complete. All rejections or NO TITLE units MUST be cleared by February 10th, 2025. If they are not cleared, it will be your responsibility to remove and redeliver these units to the new terminal.”

“Please be advised that Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover, and other high-value luxury vehicles do not have the ability to make new keys in West Africa. For this reason, Sallaum Lines strongly advises all customers to always maintain a second copy of keys for all high-value luxury vehicles before shipping. Sallaum Lines will not be responsible for providing or making replacement keys for Mercedes Benz units. In recent months, some new model Mercedes Benz have had to be shipped back to their original US loading port to issue a new key.
-To avoid this risk at destination, we suggest customers refrain from shipping such vehicles unless they have:
- A second copy of the key
- A spare key available to DHL directly to their consignee at destination.”
Please note per ACL. “Please note that this only applies to the Grimaldi West African Service. As you may well be aware, the United States will begin imposing new service fees on maritime transport services starting October 14, 2025 (USTR 301). RORO vessel entering US waters will be charged 14$ per Net ton. Grimaldi Group is committed to keep the impact of those costs to its minimal; however, after careful consideration, in order to offset part of this extra cost, we are obliged to increase our Freight Rates starting Nov 1st as follows.
+ $ 100/TEU for containers
+ $ 50/ Unit for Cv – Bvan
+ $ 5 per Cbm for HH Cat 1 and Cat 2
+ $ 5 per Cbm for Static cargo”

Per ACL, “Please be advised that Jacksonville Amports will reopen on Monday, April 21st, for forklift receiving.
“In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a container vessel destined for Asia collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. Tragically, six people on the bridge at the time are still missing. The bridge collapsed and has blocked the access to the main Baltimore terminals. There is no clear indication from the Port of Baltimore how long it will take to clear the bridge wreckage and reopen a navigable channel. At such we are unable to accept bookings from Baltimore until further notice. We will accept bookings ex New York on the direct service with the fastest transit time to West Africa, or from Norfolk, VA in T/S via Antwerp. Regarding the containers already delivered FULL in Baltimore, please note the following options.
Baltimore terminal is operating as normal to allow the below:
1. You can pick up full container, and return it empty to Baltimore.
2. You can pick up full container and transfer it to RH New York, Brooklyn or RH New York, port Newark, NJ (barge fee to apply for NJ deliveries).
3. You can pick up full container and transfer it to Norfolk, VA.
4. You will be able to pick up an Empty container from Baltimore and return it full to either New York or Norfolk.
*Any applicable terminal related costs will be billed accordingly for Empty return, export re-delivery fee or digging charges.
*You must pick up your containers in Baltimore by Monday, April 8th, 2024. After this date, the terminal will assess Export demurrage.”
