Sallaum Lines - Port Newark POV Update
Please note update per Sallaum. Today, Sallaum was advised by Port Authority officials that a decision regarding resuming POV operations at Port Newark will be made by this Friday November 3rd, 2023. If the Port Authority allows for POV operations to be resumed, there will be no need to remove cargo from Red Hook Terminal and Sallaum Lines will put plans in place to send a vessel to load all cargo as soon as possible.
*Please hold off from scheduling removal plans and do not make payments to Red Hook Terminal until we receive the final decision from Port Authority officials. We will send out a notice with the Port Authority's decision as soon as it becomes available to us.
