Please be advised that Georgia Ports Authority is unable to accept RORO and breakbulk cargo more than 30 days prior to the next vessel’s ETA. The next vessel scheduled to call Savannah Ocean Terminal is the Grande Guinea, GGU0423 ETA 6/8. Earliest the cargo should be delivered is on 5/8.

Sallaum Lines recently signed their first Pure Car/Pure Truck (PCTC) Shipbuilding for two brand new 7,500 CEU car carriers. The PCTC vessels will be built at Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Ltd. MacGregor, part of Cargotec, will be responsible for the design, supply, and installation support of RORO and car deck equipment. This includes electrically operated external and internal ramps, liftable car decks, covers and doors for the two new PCTC vessels. “Being the first new-building order for Sallaum Lines, we demonstrated our commitment to serving and building long-lasting relationships with our customers. Please be advised per ACL updates below concerning RORO & Container Bookings.

-Providence Norton Lilly - CBP will no longer accept nonrepairable certificates. We will send specific announcements for those units previously submitted to CBP that will not be clearing. CBP has stated that titles will have to be acquired for those units received and going forward.

-Effective Tuesday April 4, 2023 - Grimaldi Deepsea will no longer be accepting certain Hyundai Kia models for risk of fire as per Hyundai Kia recall.  This will apply to both units delivered as RORO and inside containers.   Grimaldi will not accept any bookings with immediate effect for the below list of units:Hyundai Santa Cruz model years 2022-2023 (Recall #2023-147)Hyundai Santa Fe model years 2019-2023 (Recall # 2023-147)Santa Fe Hybrid model years 2021-2023 (Recall #2023-147)Santa Fe Plug In Hybrid model years 2022-2023 (Recall #2023-147)Kia Carnival model years 2022-2023 (Recall # 2023-149)*Grimaldi Deepsea currently does not accept any hybrid or plug in hybrid units.  Please also note the gas combustion model years now being banned from loading our vessels.  *Please do not book these model year units.  Terminals have been notified to reject these units if customer attempts to deliver.  If units are discovered to have been received, units will be placed on hold and customer will be required to remove unit from terminal.  All terminal charges will be for customer account, with no exception.  -Regarding containers, we will perform title checks verifying that these specific model year units are not stuffed in containers.  If we discover any of these banned units inside the container, the container will be placed on hold.  Customer will be responsible for container removal and all charges associated to remove the container from the terminal. 

-Effective Tuesday April 4th - Grimaldi will not accept units with missing catalytic converters as Runners.  Units with missing catalytic converters can only be accepted as NonRunner or Forklift.  If customer decides that they do not want to rebook unit then it will be rejected.  *A vehicle that does not have a catalytic converter will only release more toxic emissions into the deck if the unit is driven on board.  This reduces the air quality that the labor breathes.  Units without catalytic converters emit more carbon monoxide and other nitrogen oxides which are harmful to breathe.

-Amports Jacksonville will shut down Forklift receiving end of business Tuesday, 4/4.   As from Wednesday, 4/5, no Forklift units will be received.

-Baltimore Dundalk Terminal will shut down Forklift and Non-Runner receiving end of business Tuesday, 4/4. As from Wednesday, 4/5, terminal will be shut down for receiving.
